RYAN HOSELTON received his B.A. in history from the University of New Mexico and a M.Div. and Th.M. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He's currently working on a dissertation with Professor Jan Stievermann on the intersection between experiential knowledge and spirituality in the biblical exegesis of Cotton Mather and Jonathan Edwards. His research interests include Puritanism, early transatlantic evangelicalism, the early Enlightenment, the Reformed and Baptist traditions in America, history of biblical interpretation, and historiography. He also assists Professor Stievermann with the Biblia Americana project and the Jonathan Edwards Center Germany. He joined the HCA's PhD program in 2014.
