Scholarships & Fees
The HCA currently offers the following scholarships for outstanding international MAS students:
- The Heidemarie Engelhorn Scholarship
- The Schurman Foundation Scholarship
- The Andreas Dienerowitz International Fellowship
The scholarships include a monthly stipend of 720 EUR for a maximum of 24 months and cover the tuition fees for non-EU students for a maximum of 4 semesters if applicable.
If you want to apply for an HCA Scholarship, please send an application email to mas@hca.uni-heidelberg.de by March 15. Please include the following documents attached as PDF files:
- A motivation letter indicating your interest and providing a brief explanation of why you should receive the scholarship
- Copies of relevant transcripts
- A CV
- A reference letter by your academic supervisor
Please note that scholarships can only be awarded to newly admitted MAS students.
HAUS Scholarship:
Heidelberg Alumni U.S. (HAUS) invites applications for the HAUS Scholarship. Qualified students from the United States are eligible to apply.

The new MAS program is tuition free.
Please note that the state of Baden-Württemberg levies tuition fees for non-EU citizens. For more details please refer to https://www.uni-heidelberg.de/courses/prospective/fees/tuitionfeesinternational.html.
Irrespective of any tuition, Heidelberg University currently charges the following administration fees: 70 EUR for general administration; 7.50 EUR for the constituted student body; a social service contribution of 49 EUR; and a contribution for the complementary financing of the regional transit pass (Semesterticket) of 25.80 EUR per semester. The total amount of 152.30 EUR is to be paid upon registration and with each re-registration.
