NATALIE RAUSCHER ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Heidelberg Center for American Studies. Zu ihren Forschungsthemen gehören öffentliche und politische Diskurse zur Zukunft der Arbeit und der Plattform Ökonomie in den USA. Sie arbeitet außerdem zu den Themen soziale Bewegungen, Social Media, US-amerikanische Philanthropie und Think Tanks, sowie Naturkatastrophen in den USA. Im Dezember 2020 verteidigte sie erfolgreich ihre Dissertation mit dem Titel: The Discourse on the Future of Work in the United States under the Influence of Automation and the Platform Economy.

Zusammen mit Prof. Welf Werner betreut sie die Veranstaltungen "Current Challenges and Controversies in U.S. Economic Policies", sowie "U.S. International Economic Policy Issues since 1945".

Zusammen mit anderen DoktorandInnen des HCA gründete und betreut Natalie Rauscher den HCA Graduate Blog.

Natalie Rauscher wurde für das Young Marsilius Fellowship 2021-2022 ausgewählt.
