Student Council

We are the American Studies Student Council!

Feel free to contact us when you have questions about courses, lecturers, exams or other topics relating to the HCA.

Studying at the HCA is more than just attending courses and taking exams. Social gatherings organized by the student council like the  “Summer BBQ” and the “Holiday Party” are great opportunities for networking. Our “Career Bridge” brings graduates of the Bachelor's or Master's program back to the HCA to talk about their journey into the working world. The student council also welcomes the freshmen and new Master's students every October with a variety of activities, from scheduling support to a bar tour to ensure that all HCA students settle in successfully.

With funds from the university's “Qualitätssicherungsmittel,” the HCA student council provides access to the “Grammarly” software and the literature portal “Perlego.” If you would like access to these resources, please feel free to contact us by e-mail. In addition, we use the “Qualitätssicherungsmittel” to help finance field trips organized as part of HCA courses.

Sounds interesting? Feel free to drop by our biweekly meetings and contribute your own ideas!

Monday, 1 - 2 p.m. in the Stucco; biweekly!
